Whether you're looking for your own next red carpet look, or just a quick wardrobe touch-up for the new season, you should definitely put "Draping and/or Ruched" on the list. You won't find an easier, more flattering or versatile trend this season!

There was plenty of draping to be found on the Spring 2010 runway, from casual collections like Twenty8Twelve right up to the very French & very major Jean Paul Gaultier. Most notable was Burberry Prorsum - designer Christopher Bailey brought the Burberry brand back to London Fashion Week after a ten-year absence, and presented a collection that was almost competely draped!

Draped dresses and tops are easy to wear, and very flattering.. they hide those areas you want to keep hidden (whether real or imagined!) and require very little fuss. No need to over-accessorize, the dress or top speaks for itself. Choose a terrific colour and neckline that suits, this is also a perfect trend for the office.
